Black Canyon of the Gunnison

Black Canyon of the Gunnison

When we visited this canyon it was a national monument. Just a month later it got promoted to National Park.

The folks here, promoting their park, say this canyon is the best in the world when you make a combined metric of depth and narrowness. Well worth a stop.
