 HAZE - a contraction.

 VIEW - contraction: verb and pronoun.

 HEAVY DEW - phrase. A request for action.

 GUMMIT - Noun. An often-closed bureaucratic institution.
 Usage: "Great ... ANOTHER gummit shutdown!"
