My brother headed off on a school skiing trip to New Zealand... unfortunately, on the day he boarded the plane, the ski lodge they'd booked was closed when the nearby Mount Ruapehu began to erupt. The TV news showed huge clouds of smoke billowing seven miles into the sky... lava destroying T-bars and buildings... and all I could think of was my brother standing there, saying "It was like that when I found it!"
