I spotted this in today's (July 5, 1995) LM Boyd column, and loved it. Now it's your turn to suffer. ;) History records that the 1800's Austrian Emperor, Ferdinand I, was insane. Rarely did he make much sense to the sensible. But he did deliver one line widely quoted because it was coherent: "I am the Emperor, and I want dumplings."
