I read in comp.risks that a (nameless) library had some problems when upgrading from paper card catalogs to an online index. The software they used a standardized set of keywords, and it replaced "Madonna" with "Mary, Blessed Virgin, Saint", causing reclassification of recent works by Ms. Ciccone.
