One of the engineers who is working on a project involving PCMCIA asked me what it stood for. I thought about it for a minute, but before he let me spit out my definition he quipped "People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms." I laughed pretty hard since is is one of the worst acronyms to hit the industry in a long time and his definition was so appropriate.
