At a recent engineering meeting, a manager was querying his
group about the number of units being returned from the
field which were D.O.A. (dead on arrival). The problem was
the units would overheat due to a failed cooling fan.
Manager: "What's the story with these fans? They should be
more reliable. Shoot, they don't even have any
moving parts."
