One of my favorite things about watching sports is the dumb things the announcers say. Here are 2 of my all-time favorites.... 1) Said by an announcer at the U.S. Open tennis tournament, which is plagued by aircraft constantly flying over head. "It's like Grand Central Station with all these airplanes!" 2) Said by Joe Thiesmann, former QB and commentator for ESPN football, in response to a tackle.
