Just got this E-mail from a friend of mine:

Tracy and I are buying a house.

The front door is grey.

We have just recieved notification--now keep in mind that we have not closed on the house let alone moved in--that the color of the door does not conform to the local homeowner's association list of approved colors and we will have to either seek a permit to keep the color or will will have to change the color to the "original." And, no, the original color is not listed.

So, I'm in trouble with a committee I've never heard of for a place I've never lived in over a change I did not make and to make amends I have to change the door to a color I've never seen.

Where's the revolution when you need it?
