[True, although the quote may not be exact; heard 5 March 1996 on KINK radio.] Recently, singer k. d. lang had a chance to sing for the President and First Lady. Afterwards, President Clinton asked her what she liked most and least about singing on tour. She said that her favorite part was the performing, but her least favorite was "when people throw underwear at you when you're on stage. But that's okay, because you know it's really hard to do laundry when you're on the road."
