I was reading a report about about possible health effects from the use of Depleted Uranium (DU) in weapons used in Iraq and Yugoslavia. (DU is used because it's very dense, not because of any radiation effect - it's called *depleted* for a reason). Anyway, the story I was reading (http://news.bbc.co.uk/low/english/sci/tech/newsid_337000/337855.stm) said
`The US army's Environmental Policy Institute reported in 1995: "If DU enters the body, it has the potential to generate significant medical consequences."'
Isn't that sort of why you're shooting it at people in the first place?
