A fellow in Elkhart, KS had resisted putting up Christmas lights year after year, in spite of the increasingly extensive displays in his neighborhood. His neighbors scolded that he needed to get into the holiday spirit, that he was bringing down the neighborhood, etc. Finally this year, he got into the action: He installed a flashing arrow pointing down the block, labelled "Las Vegas."
