Early this morning, Channel 4 in Seattle carried a live report showing the fans who had lined up overnight to get tickets for today's release of Star Wars. It was the standard "Aren't They Kooky but Lovable?" story. You know the drill. At one point, the reporter held up a two-inch figurine for a camera closeup, and in his best authoritative reporter's voice announced, "...and this is Darth Vader, who will be featured prominently in the film." Remember, you heard it here first.
