I just heard on NPR that the Federal Government has converted an underground bomb shelter in northern Virginia for use as a storage area for old movies. The shelter was reportedly hollowed out of a mountain and large enough to keep essential parts of government operating in case of an attack by the USSR or other evil empires.

So, if we ever see them rolling in dump trucks full of popcorn, we'll know the end is near.
