Saw this on TECHWR-L, a tech writer's mailing list: A friend of mine at work has a boat. Last weekend someone broke into her boat and another person's boat and stole the stereos. In the other person's boat all that was left was a gaping hole and the stereo manual open to the page about installing and removing the stereo. That manual passed the usability test.
