My brother and his wife were recently explaining to my niece, who is just shy of 5, about Rosa Parks. She was having trouble understanding why the black people had to sit in the back of the bus. My brother and sister-in-law explained that the law wasn't fair, but that people protested and got the law changed. "Ah," said my niece, "So now white people can sit in the back of the bus, too!"
