(Submitted with permission of the author.) Tracy Thompson <thompson@spanport.umass.edu> relates: I once wrote the word "kill" on a psychology final exam over and over for an hour. Strangely enough, I got an "A" on the exam in question. (Then again, I didn't write the "kill" on it till after I got it back.)
