The line of the day comes from my EE3400 Lab Manual. It is discussing Fourier Analysis, and is giving a background on Mr. Fourier himself: "Fourier was a child prodigy and the last of 19 children. Although once sentenced to the guillotine during the French Revolution, he survived and performed mathematics research for Napolean." Now I've heard of people surviving the Electric Chair, but the man who survives the guillotine has earned my utmost respect.
