The Ted Williams Tunnel, named after the Red Sox baseball legend, was dedicated in Boston MA on December 16th. Costing over $3 billion, the Ted Williams Tunnel is part of the "Big Dig," also known as the Central Artery/Third Harbor Tunnel project. The new tunnel connects East Boston with South Boston. As reported on the Opie and Anthony show on WAAF radio in Boston: "They should give us the Ted Kennedy Tunnel. It'd be a lot cheaper, since there'd be no construction necessary, you just drive through the river."
