This is absolutely true.... I'm not sure it's that funny, but being a diver, I thought it was funny. Apparently, there was a fire on the island of Paros (sp?) in Greece. Since the authorities don't have firehydrants like you would find in the US, they use a helicopter-based system to scoop water from the ocean and dump it on the fire. Well, unfortunately, the mananged to scoop up a scuba diver in the bucket. No, he didn't live (he died in the fall, not from the fire). I guess this gives new meaning to the idea of being prudent what you take from the sea. Yes, it's sick, sick, sick... enjoy.
