I was chatting with a customer today whose husband is a refrigerator repairman in the interior region of BC. It seems that a customer called up looking for him as her fridge was not working. The wife, who has experence helping her husband took the call. The problem was diagnosed as a "Vapour Lock" in a propane fired fridge and the cure was " turn the fridge upside down for a few minutes to allow the lock to clear then put it back and all should be well". Fine. Now a little later the customer, now furious, called back and said, "Why didn't you tell me to empty the fridge first!"
