Don't know if it's true or not, but this little gem appeared in our local newspaper sports section a few weeks ago [paraphrased]: Seems this young boy was waiting outside a minor league ballpark where Michael Jordan had just played. In his arms he carried a basketball. When Jordan finally appeared, he saw the kid and said "I'm not signing that thing, kid. I don't play basketball anymore." To which the youngster replied: "I don't want you to SIGN it. I want you to HIT it."
