(This just barely qualifies as topical...)

Well, yesterday was opening day for many ball parks,
and the local TV (CKCO) newscast covered all the
highlights, including a few ceremonial opening
pitches. We saw Nancy Kerrigan throw a nice lob shot,
for which the sportscaster made some snarky comment
about the shot being a bit above the strike zone.
After some clips from that game, we saw Bill Clinton
toss an almost identical pitch for another opener.

The sportscaster said he must have attended the
  Nancy Kerrigan baseball school.

My wife commented that he had to pitch that way
  to get the ball over the Secret Service men.

At the end of the sports, the news anchor explained
  Nancy's problem...  She was worried about all those
  big men standing around with clubs!
