Many of us parents of pre-schoolers are concerned about the totally
sappy television show (scourge) being launched on our kids.  We have
been concerned that this is going to produce a whole generation of
"too perky for reality" citizens. Thankfully not all of those targeted
are being affected (note that the real song is all about love, hugs
and kisses):  

Heard from my four-old, who apparently DOES have a sense of humor:

	I hate you, you hate me
	Let's hang Barney from a tree
	With a KNIFE through his back
	And an arrow through his head
	Til that purple thing is DEAD!
