Now that Fermat's Last Theorem has been proved, we have a benchmark against which to measure the amount of time a project will take. It took about 350 years to prove the theorem, so the most convenient unit is the milliFermat, a little over four months. Example: "Unless we hire more people, this project will take about three milliFermats."
