You've probably heard this before, but it's still worth a few laughs.
As narrated by Eric Idle (of Monty Python fame) on the Tonight Show a few days
ago:
The queen was escorting the Italian ambassador in her guilded
horse-drawn carriage when one of the horses left wind. The queen,
acutely embarrassed, offered her apoligies to the Italian ambassador,
to which the latter replied, "Oh. That's all right your Majesty. I
thought it was the horse."
