Buyiong a house a couple of weeks ago and dealing with the continual unexpected subsequent expenses brought me to a new understanding of the term "liquid assets". One of the properties of most liquids is that you can siphon them. Once you get your money flowing out of your coffers at sufficient rate, it won't stop flowing until nothing is left.
