Heard on the Radio 4 programme, Loose Ends, Saturday 30th May:
Background: Interview with a member of the Tallest Men Club, a club
for tall men, the interviewer was asking the guy, who was
7 foot 4 inches, about all the jokes he had had to suffer:
"Don't you get fed up with all the jokes?"
"Well, I've heard them all before, "Have you got an aircraft warning
light on your head?", etc"
"But what do you say when they ask THE question:
"Are you ALL in proportion?" "
"Oh, I've got a good answer to that, I always say "Thank god NO!
otherwise I'd be 8 foot 4!"
