Fact can be funnier than fiction. Here is another true story:

My brother's future mother-in-law held an engagement party. When I entered the room she shouted across the room for all to hear (and be impressed by): "Oh Harry! Where have you been all my life?"

My reply was "Well, for the first thirty years I easn't even born."

That was thirty years ago, and during all this time she has never spoken to me once.
