My girlfriend and I were discussing the future and the past. I told her that I had signed up for a dating service just before I met her. She asked what would happen if we end up getting married:

Her: Will they eventually drop you or do you have to remove yourself?
That is of course if.....
Me: Well. I'm paid up for three years. Seems silly now. But if we do get
married, remind me to call 'em and tell 'em to drop me completely.
Me: Of course, if three years expire, then poof I go away anyway.
Her: I will try and remind you.
Her: I would feel really funny if someone called after we are married.
Me: You'd feel funnier if I called 'em back!

[Ed: Addendum--The poster did marry her Dec 31, and was called back by
the dating service. He did call back--to cancel.]
