We were just sitting here musing about the fact that someone's come up with a WebSmell system - a gadget which claims to be able to generate any odour you want by emitting varying quantities of 14 different chemicals that combine to produce the required smell.

"Just think," said our marketing/PR director, "in years to come you'll be sitting there sniffing suspiciously and then an Email will arrive saying 'Sorry, that was me.."
