PRANKSTER PAINTS THE TOWN RED
AARONSVILLE - No one took him literally when Clancy Calhoun stumbled out of Pete's Tavern early Wednesday evening saying that he was off to "paint the town red." Two hours later, he was driving his pickup down Oak Street with a two hundred gallon drum of red paint and a high-powered rotating sprinkler rigged together in the back.
He had gone almost three blocks before he was stopped by a group of irate citizens. Houses, cars, pets, and people were left covered in paint in the truck's wake.
Said Vietnam veteran Boomer Jones; "I was reliving the war all over again. When my wife screamed and I got splattered, I thought for a moment that she had exploded all over me."
