My Chinese husband returned from the US on Sunday, and recounted the following story:
"Americans are so strange. This guy was sharing a taxi with me to the airport, and the driver asked him where he was flying to. He said, "To see the rabbits." The taxi driver said, "oh," like that was perfectly normal."
Our son was a laughing, and said that Americans are really weird. I was quiet for while, then, I said:
"Cedar Rapids."
He didn't speak to me for the rest of the evening.
